Solidarity Kermesses

Every year, San Agustín School and San Martín de Tours Institute organize their Solidarity Kermesse for the benefit of our Association. These events invite us to come together as a community and unite for a common charitable goal, which in our case helps us continue leaving a beautiful mark of love.

This time, we were also able to take 42 of our kids, who participate in the Support School program, to both events so they could enjoy an afternoon of fun.

Thank you to all the families and teams from each school who worked so hard to help us continue our work!

Graduates 2023

This Monday, we all said goodbye together to the four graduates of this year: Orne, Guada, Lean, and Angel.

We are very happy to have accompanied them throughout these years in our spaces!

Thank you for sharing your learnings with us and giving us so many wonderful moments. You will always have open doors and be a part of our Agustinian Social Service!

New Sponsorship Program

From the Association of Former Students of the San Agustín School, we were proposed to launch a Sponsorship Program to help sustain our activities. We were extremely excited and overjoyed by this proposal, and it brought us immense happiness to welcome the new sponsors. We already have 16 Godmothers and Godfathers who contribute to our work every month and receive information about their godchildren. We also opened the program so that anyone who wants to join and help improve our society can do so.

These are times when the economy is very difficult, which is why we infinitely value the contributions that are made. It is very heartwarming for us to see how the Godparents get emotional with each life story and always want to know a little bit more.

We continue sending donations to Santa María and Cafayate.

Once again, we sent nearly 200 kg of clothing, footwear, and medications to Caritas, which manages a clothing bank and a pharmacy, for the Parish of Nuestra Sra. de la Candelaria in Catamarca and the Santa Mónica Nursery in Cafayate. All these donations reach their destinations thanks to the families of Colegio San Agustín in Buenos Aires and are prepared with much love by the Social Action Team.

In addition, from the Service Social Agustiniano, we selected board games and educational toys for Acuarela (the new project for kids that operates at the Parroquia Nuestra Sra. de la Candelaria) to provide more educational materials and support their activities with the children. We then transported the donations from Capital Federal to Cafayate, thanks to the immense generosity of the company La Veloz del Norte, which has been supporting us since 2022.

The Augustinians are also present in the Calchaquí Valleys, and this month they opened “Acuarela” at Our Lady of Candelaria Parish in Santa María, Catamarca. It’s a new project to support children from 5 to 15 years old who are in situations of social vulnerability. We are supporting them by sharing our experience and sending donations of toys, books, and educational materials so that they can learn values through play, just as we do at the Agustinian Social Service in Balvanera. This way, we can continue making a positive impact on the little ones.
